Ivory Madison is working with pianist
Richard Hall, and a host of other well-dressed musicians, on a
cd of jazz standards with a lounge edge, to be released in 2009.
Richard and Ivory became friends when they worked together onstage
at The Plush Room in 2005. At the time, Richard was the musical
director of “Dirty Little Secret” and the Rat Pack “Tribute” show.
Ivory is a founding member of The Church of Sinatra, so naturally,
Richard’s expertise in Sinatra, and his British accent, convinced
her to hire him for this project.
Ivory has been compared, in her mind, to Peggy Lee, Julie London,
Shirley Bassey, Eartha Kitt, and especially Frank Sinatra. The cd will include famous jazz standards (Do Nothing ‘Til
You Hear From Me, You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To),
cult classics (My Heart Belongs to Daddy, Bewitched),
and original songs (by Ivory Madison).

America, where it will be big in Japan.
